Morty Mint
Morty Mint has been in the book industry for 50 years as of the day after Labour Day 2016, and has worked in England, Canada and the U.S. He has headed up major book publishing companies, including Penguin Books in Canada and in the U.S. He has owned and operated a successful book distribution company, Mint Publishers Group, which developed the brands Guinness Book of Records and Ripley’s Believe It or Not into major bestsellers in North America and delivered both to the New York Times bestseller lists. He is now devoting his considerable expertise and energies to building his literary agency. Morty is also a proactive member of the Nelson literary community, having been involved with the Kootenay Literary Competition and the Cultural Development Committee for the city of Nelson.
